I was drawn to this painting because I lived in the Southwest for 30 years. I loved the painting’s colors and the majesty of the etched canyons I lived near. The painting was in danger of being almost “blah” because the colors didn’t strike me as being as vivid as they appeared on the website. The surprise was that once I started placing the oranges and shades of rich browns and blacks, the painting appeared much more striking. I am happy with it and will frame it!
