Protecting my investment

At first I was going to forego getting this groundsheet to save some $, weight, and because the sil-poly floor seemed durable. I’ll use nylo-pro or polycro instead, I thought. Then I realized that it would be insane not to protect my single best piece of backpacking gear with a groundsheet designed just for this tent. Ordered it and used it in steady, all-night rain. I was dry, my tent wasn’t as muddy as it would’ve been, and most of all the tent floor and my sleeping pad were better protected from the consistently rocky and rooty New England ground. Lightweight but still thick enough to protect my investment. I’m glad I made this choice.
