The Long Run - Yes to my mornings!
This has been my favorite release so far, delivering exactly what I want in a dark roast: rich, bold flavor without the harsh bitterness that can plague darker coffees. It’s full-bodied, incredibly smooth, and satisfying from the first sip to the last.
What impressed me most is the balance. Many dark roasts lean so heavily into smoky or charred flavors that they lose their complexity. The Long Run manages to stay bold while remaining approachable, giving you that deep, robust cup that wakes you up without overwhelming your palate.
For someone who enjoys a stronger morning coffee, this one hits the sweet spot every time. Whether brewed in a drip machine or French press, it consistently produces a rich, flavorful cup that feels like the perfect way to start the day. NOTE - For me, I love strong coffee, so I make it one scoop per "cup" to get the kick I desire.

My Favorite of the Lineup
If I had to pick just one coffee from the Long Run lineup, Superb Black Dark Roast would be it.

Brewing Notes
Like the other Long Run coffees I’ve tested, I found the ideal ratio to be:
* One scoop of coffee for every “cup” marked on the coffee maker or French press.
That produces the bold, full-bodied flavor I’m looking for while keeping the cup smooth and well-balanced. If you prefer a lighter brew, you can certainly back it off, but for dark roast lovers, this ratio is right on the money.
