Serotonin Spritz

This is it! This is THE citrus that I have been looking for!!! I have been wanting to find a fragrance that replicates the amazing smell that hits your senses when you first cut into the peel of a grapefruit or an orange, where you can almost imagine the burst of juice spray into the air as you peel it. I was craving the slightly bitter rind, but is still so fresh and airy. I didn’t want a creamsicle or vanilla dry down. I wanted a clean, bright, zesty citrus, the epitome of summertime sunshine, without reminding me of a household cleaner, or drying down into a heady white floral public bathroom hand soap. This hits all of my requirements and is exactly what I was searching the world for. The tequila and thyme notes keep it grounded and interesting, slightly herbal. But overall it is a pretty straight forward and linear grapefruit. What you first spray is what you keep in the dry down, and that’s rare for a citrus perfume to keep its top note mostly intact for the full wear. This makes me so happy. 10/10. I wish it came in a bigger size because I’m going to use the heck out of this bottle.

The citrus flies away pretending there is emergency. The dry down is male aftershave with a woody base. Meh.
