I like this better than the metal one since the little stone/metal particles don't get as easily caught in the moving parts. My favourite position is to set this under the tap and keep the water trickling while I sharpen.

Very good stone holder. Gets a bit wet on the counter closest to you as it’s not in the middle of the bridge. I put a price of paper towel under that edge which also makes it a tighter fit. Any thing that i think would be improved is moving the stationary stop a few inches forward so the block is further from you. But I’m also 6’2”
