Killer travel bag

After reading a mountain of reviews on travel bags, I finally picked up a Synik 30 at the Tom Bihn factory in Seattle. I was really happy to make the in-person visit as I was able to try on the 22, 26 and 30. For my frame, the 30 felt like a better fit and was large enough to carry a pseudo-one-bag pack job for an around-the-world trip. It fits well under the seat when not packed to the gills, and carries very well with the internal frame sheet. Our big trip is this summer and I'll try to update this review with how it went with a variety of different airlines. I also wanted to really call out the help we got at the factory. I didn't catch the name of the person that helped us, and wish I had. She was super helpful and very patient, and I really appreciated the great customer service. If you get a chance to go in person to check out the bags, I would really encourage you to do so as the service is top notch.

Amazing Backpack

When you need a buy it once for life product, this backpack delivers. Its looks may not be for everyone but it more than makes up for it by being more efficient and well made than any other backpack. The attention to detail Tohm Bihn and their workers put into every stich and design decision is incredible. The versatility always surprises me from how it handles edc loadouts to travel loadouts and everything in between. The O ring system greatly adds to its wide adaptability and is very unique to Tom Bihn. Materials are top tier and are available in a wide variety to suit many different styles and use cases. It is very fun to try different loadouts and gear to see how it changes my day to day experience. I will never hesitate to buy from Tom Bihn because of their genuine lifetime warranty and how they proudly make their bags in the USA.

A bag that can do it all!

Got my Ursa/Dusk Synik 30 a little over a month ago and have been very impressed with the design and quality of this bag! The high quality of the materials and craftsmanship was apparent the second I took it out of the box. I really appreciate the versatility of this backpack. When I'm carrying just my laptop and have the items I need for work in the external compartments on the front of the bag, the bag stays close to my torso and has a sleek side profile which I really like. I recently used it as my primary bag for a long weekend trip and it felt like it had plenty of room for all of my stuff. Very happy with my purchase.
