Could Use A Little More Support

I purchased this bra because the support bra that I have been wearing from Cottonique for years has been discontinued. I like the side ties because they are not obvious and they bolster support. But I had to take this bra to my alterations lady who is going to alter the straps of the bra so it gives me more support. I am size 40 C.

Super soft + comfortable!

This may be my favorite bra I've ever worn. It is thick, plush, soft, and comfortable, and I love the side-tie mechanism as an alternative to elastic. The bra also came with an extra tie which I appreciate. I will say I am on the smaller-chested side and so the support provided by the ties is enough for me, but it might not be for those with larger busts. For sizing reference, my bust measures around 34-35 and my underbust around 28-29, and the 34B was a perfect fit for me.

Can't wear in public

I have been looking for an organic cotton bra and was excited to find cottonique. But unfortunately, I can't give a good review after buying their bras because they dont actually do what a bra is meant to do! I am not even comfortable being around anyone except my husband when I'm wearing it, the bra is thin and does not hide your nipples. In fact, the seams in the middle of the bra make it look even worse. I tried putting some cotton nursing pads inside the bra for some padding but due to the weird seam that doesn't lay flat it STILL looks like my nipples are showing through! I'm so disappointed that I spent SO much money on bras and they don't even work! I'm marking the size as too large because even though I feel like it fits about right after washing; I feel like maybe if it was too small it might smash me more and be a little less obvious. But honestly I don't think anything would help unless they get rid of that awkward seam in the middle of the bra otherwise the nursing pad idea would have worked and it totally still looks like knobby nipples poking through! 😡
