Still not fully setup

Siren is not working for some reason. It's hooked up as indicated in the instructions (BTW I'm an electrical engineer, so this is not rocket science). The hardware was easy to install. However, software is another issue. Since Konnected uses third party apps I haven't been able to figure out how to get it to contact me if the alarm is triggered. They should really have their own app that's a solid app to control this. So far not terribly happy with the system.

A bumpy star with a great product

An excellent Product to replace my two 6 zone boards. I had a bit of a struggle connecting with my network and Smartthings because I just replaced my router. Also had a bit of trouble getting the piezo configured, but it all worked out in the end.

You can't direct convert an alarm system with EOL resistors

Unclear you can't direct convert an alarm system with EOL resistors in place especially if the alarm doesn't work and the resistors are buried in the walls near the contact (like they are supposed to be on a professionally installed system). This is not clearly documented on the comparison page or where you go to buy the item. You can only find this out if you are looking for it online wondering why they system is not working as intended. You also can't put more than 1 PIR on a single zone or it will trip every 30 seconds or so even if you remove the EOL resistors in the box. That's not the case with a standard alarm system. Wish this really was a simple replacement but it isn't. Disappointed.
