SVS Pinnacles are Rockin'!
Just recently purchased a pair of Prime Pinnacles and a Prime Center to upgrade the HT. Adding these speakers to my existing SVS SB3000 and Marantz SR5012, I also added a Monolith 3x200 external amp to push the Pinnacles. The Pinnacles replaced a pair of Klipsch RP-280F towers. With the new equipment, the difference is amazing. The Pinnacles are definitely more relaxed at the top end, compared to the Klipsch, but still provide a crisp sound. As the Pinnacles are not an efficient speaker, I'd glad to have the Monolith amp to push them - when you do push them a bit, they come alive and the imaging is wonderful, allowing me to hear some new bit and pieces, giving my insight into music I've been listening to for years. When cranked up, the Monolith pumps more than adequate power and makes these speakers just rock ! Tremendously detailed, clear and clean - and loud. A nice mix of low end from the woofers, adequate mid-range and of course, the PB3000 adds a nice compliment to the Pinnacles. The Prime Center is wonderful - brings out clear and concise dialogue. It's only been a week since set-up and still have not yet experienced any movies, but that's coming soon. The styles of music I listen to most (Steely Dan, Yes, Genesis, Hair Bands, Tool, Doors, The Tea Party and the like) all sound so sweet, and as needed -powerful - with the combination of these SVS, Marantz and Monolith products.

This was the missing link in my SVS audio system. The highs and vocals blend now seamlessly and with depth and power. I cant be more satisfied.
