We have multiple crews working trails in rugged terrain for most of the summer and fall. These radios keep them in communication when logistics get complicated and folks need to spread out. It's a huge relief to know we've got them out there.

We have purchased several of these for our business. They are a great radio for the price. They have good range and teh battery seems to last pretty long. They also have good customer service.

OUTSTANDING PRODUCT

Just field-tested these on a multipitch day in Boulder Canyon. Simply outstanding performance in every way. Easy to use, crisp and clear audio, could easily use from either gear loop on harness or shoulder strap of pack - neither affected clarity. And TOUGH - took some abuse, squeeze chimney and some gnarly belly sliding/down-climbing on the descent, radios didn't flinch. Worth noting that these have rated carabiners - maybe an obvious feature, but not one I take for granted. A lot of manufacturers nickel and dime stuff like that. Trango Quantums are legit - a very nice touch that I appreciate. And a tether for added security just piles on the love. My buddy I was climbing with thought they were awesome, wondered how he ever climbed without them, and is going to buy a set for himself. Nice job - these are the real deal.
