SEMCO Liquid Membrane™ Waterproofing

Love it. It works! Excellent product. Responsive company. My Subterranean Garage was a humid mess. After mold remediation and priming, the SEMCO Liquid Membrane now protects the concrete walls and floor. Smooth application. Good drying time. Great colours. Hoping that soon the website will include the names of the colours along with the swatches, because currently it's somewhat confusing. FYI: White is nice and bright. Monday Grey is industrial yet soft. And the Cove Blue is dreamy with a bright punch. And the finish is glass-like but not overly slick on the floor. Decided to make my 1975 Post Mid-Century cedar wood home a SEMCO house: Next repair is my 50 year-old brick chimney. Will use the SEMCO pre-stain to cover the patches on the chimney crown, followed by SEMCO Natural Shield to water-resist the weathered Chicago Common brick which is no longer manufactured. Bottomline: Dependable products. Helpful people. And the waterproofing is effective enough to please a Mermaid! SEMCO WORKS! That's what the tape says ... and I agree!!

This stuff is absolutely incredible for waterproofing. I built a seesaw for my grandchildren and sealed it afterward with this. Also, being water-based, it has no strong fumes. Still, apply it in a well-ventilated area, and it doesn't clean up like a latex paint, so just be aware of that and wear old clothes.

I just put two coats on today. I’m going to put another coat on tomorrow morning. I live in Pittsburgh PA. and it so hot right now. I used a roller to apply the paint and it is very easy to spread. I like your product so far, I believe it will keep the water from seeping through the joints in the wood. I really like the color as well. Thanks for asking how it’s going. If everything works well, I’ll definitely buy more to cover my basement floor.
