Solid engineering.

Did what it says on the box. 8 of these make an outer side wheel, two outer side wheels plus center segments make a whole wheel. Add in the glue on traction pads on the inside. Very solid once assembled. The base is nice and sturdy, and it's not noisy when your cat is running. Would buy again.
