Love the pockets and finish

I'm glad I got some practice at welt pockets and top stitching! I made this pattern according to my measurements size 46 and they were WAY too small. So small that I decided to over compensate and make them again at size 50!!!!. Well I am livid. The lower leg fits like a legging around the knee and calf, way too tight, the top is fine. These pants are perhaps suited to an apple shape woman with skinny legs.

I have trouble buying pants to fit comfortably. Every time I buy some I need to do alterations in the crotch length. That’s why I started sewing them. This pattern was a great fit, I added 1 inch in the back crotch length and the fit is good. I have made 2 pairs and will make more.

Fit is too slim!

I made the correct size for my measurements, but this pattern is not designed for someone with a normal size rear end.
