TORO

First bag of the Toro and I'm genuinely impressed with the flavor profile — the nutty, almond notes come through cleanly and there's a sweetness to it that makes for a really smooth cup. As an espresso drinker, the crema is excellent and the consistency shot-to-shot has been solid. My only hesitation is the intensity — I came in expecting a bolder, more assertive kick and the Toro leans smoother than I anticipated. Not a complaint exactly, more a calibration. I've heard the second bag often hits differently as you dial in your grind, so I'm holding final judgment there. Overall: a well-crafted, high-quality medium roast from a roaster that clearly takes freshness seriously. Will update after bag two.

When I do it right in the department of making a good espresso shot, this is very delicious coffee. Has a great body to it, and a lift. I’m making cappuccinos with it on the daily.

Devoción Toro is a very smooth and well-balanced coffee with rich note. Having very fresh and flavorful taste, also easy to enjoy. It’s an excellent choice for an everyday brew.
