RedLine Strap

After my first session in the redline strap shoes, I am pleasantly surprised by their performance! They are very soft and sticky which definitely helps them excel at slab and smearing. I found myself multiple times surprised that I was still on the wall smearing on volumes in a move that I just assumed I would fall off of. So the rubber is a 10/10 and much better than any other shoe brand’s rubber that I have tried, and I have climbed competitively with shoes from most brands that are commonly sold. Comparing the redlines to other Mad Rock shoes I’ve tried ie: D2ones lv and remora pros lv, I would say that the fit is wider on the heel on the redlines than the other two but otherwise similar in fit. The redlines are definitely the most downturned of the three, which seemed a bit better for pulling on footholds during roof climbing. Overall a great shoe that meets my standards, however I wish there was a low volume version that could fit my skinny heels a tad better.
