Mackenna Nightstand

More beautiful in person

I didn’t know my bedroom was missing these until the arrived! They immediately made our room feel more complete and put together. They are solid, a beautiful color dark blue. They arrived already together and were packaged with a ton of padding. I thought they were going to be delivered to my room and the boxes removed but they were just left in my foyer.

Attractive and functional

I bought two of these. They are attractive and look like high quality, with classic, timeless appeal. The color does change with the lighting - in brighter light, it does look like navy blue, but in darker/dim light it does pull more charcoal. I got them to go with the Henrietta bed and Roslin rug and it all looks as gorgeous as the marketing photos. One of the drawers had a manufacturing issue and customer service was helpful to resolve. The room is small and I use the drawers to hold clothes and is functional. Due to the curved design, it's hard to pull the top drawer open with one hand while laying in bed.

Lovely Nightstand

I have been eyeing the McKenna Nightstand for a while and was excited to have recently purchased two for our bedroom. Overall the description is on point with the piece's straightforward design with subtle design features (e.g. subtle curved front), which give it the perfect character that I was looking for. I would love to give five stars, but a couple things led to giving this nightstand four stars instead. First, I would agree with an earlier review that although the nightstand does have navy undertones, it looks a bit more charcoal (but do think it can depend on the lighting). Also, upon opening the drawers for the first time, one did not seem to have the drawer tracks properly installed where it was very hard to open and close, plus when closed it sat lower where there was a just-noticeable gap between the top and middle drawers. Fortunately, my husband is pretty handy and was able to fix it.
