This Bike is solid as they come. I have never built a bike before but this one was fairly simple. Watch some YouTube videos and it’s straight forward. I was impressed with the packing and even if MikesBikes doesn’t answer the phone, they are quick to call or email you back. I wish their DIY video was Ebike specific as that would have been great, and I do recommend hitting your local bike shop to double check all the nuts and bolts to the proper torque specs in Nm. I didn’t trust the torque socket set I got online (made in China) and I’m glad as it would have most likely ruined my bike. Gazelle Rocks!!! So does MikesBikes. Remember left pedal rotates left to tighten…lol. FYI…. This is the single largest online purchase I have made to date and it was seemless. About 8 business days from purchase to delivery. I read the BBB rating and still felt comfortable going forward. The complaint I read seemed to be the customer’s fault…. So yes I fully recommend MikesBikes. I’m 56 and a somewhat hard to please shopper…lol

Gazelle Ultimate C380

I am enjoying this bike very much. The overall quality feels top-notch and everything seems to work together very nicely. I'm glad that the handlebars are adjustable as I was able to move them into a very upright position that I find comfortable. The upright position works great for me as I don't have to put much weight onto my hands. I was a bit worried about ordering a bike on the internet but the purchase process, order tracking and shipping worked flawlessly. It was easy to perform the final assembly and the only issue I encountered was a missing bell and a slightly out of position front fender. The front fender just needed some muscle to bend it into position (very minor) and Mike's Bikes quickly sent out the missing bell. The Enviolo hub is interesting. It requires a twisting force to change the torque level ("gears"). Someone with wrist problems may find this twisting motion to be a negative. Also, it works best if you are not pedaling while twisting. The key is to think of it as a manual transmission where you let off the accelerator as you shift gears. Just stop pedaling and twist then resume pedaling. I bike on mainly flat terrain with wind being more of an issue than hills. The torque and battery power are more than adequate for my biking needs. Love the bike!

Mike's Bikes is wonderful

I had been looking for an eBike for my wife since September, but this was my first visit to Mike's Bike for this purpose. Wonderful experience and selection of eBikes. Super helpful and informative. I bought a bike that day, on the first visit. We decided on a Gazelle, very well made, simple to use, and my wife has been riding every day since we brought it home. Would strongly recommend Mike's Bikes to anyone interested in looking at traditional road, mountain, gravel or eBikes.
