Blackberry Caddo

I planted 6 of these live plants this spring (2023). All grew nicely. All had plenty of water and fertilizer, but not as much sunshine as I would have liked. (I had only one place in my yard that could accommodate them.) None bore fruit in this first year, but I am hoping there will be berries in their second summer.

First year

The plants arrived in good shape and with some growth on them. They have done very well so far but no fruit this year. Im sure we will have beeries next years!

off to a slow start

they looked healthy enough when they got here, but it took them almost two months to stand up and make new growth. Frankly, I was expecting them to start turning brown and die, but they've suddenly woken up now. Have to wait and see how they do.
