Soft but Shedding
I have not blocked this yet, but it feels like an absolute dream to the touch! It is, without a doubt, the softest yarn I've ever felt and so easy to knit with! I'm making the Abergundet scarf pattern from "52 Weeks of Easy Knits", and I can't wait to finish it.
I've deducted a star because I don't know how well this will last long-term. Even just working it up, quite a bit of the alpaca sheds. It's not solidly attached to the silk core at all, so I'm worried about durability. The areas that have experienced shedding, though, don't feel any rougher than the other areas.
All in all, I'm already dreaming about what I'm going to knit next with it!
