Unfortunately one my lamps came damaged which I ended up fixing myself by having to take the felt off the bottom and tightening the mechanism that holds the lightbulb itself. Both of my lampshades came with the borders lifting off and they sent replacements and the replacement are the same. All this being said the base of the lamp is stunning but all in all surprisingly expensive for the quality.
