Excellent!

This is my second pair in I don't know how many years. Mostly used when working in the yard, especially mowing, because they are sturdy and help with my balance. My bunions don't hurt when the yardwork is done, either. Rub a little petroleum jelly on the shoes afterwards gets them shining like new plus keeps the leather uppers soft and flexible. 5 stars!!!

Good boot

The boot repels water nicely and I have been able to wear them hiking since day one. The tongue is sewed to the boot, so it bunches up around my ankle. There's also not a lot of padding around the back of the ankle, so it rubs there too. With careful lacing and tongue positioning, they're comfortable enough for my 3 mile hikes every day despite the weather. They're heavy and slippery on wet rocks, but overall I really like them!
