Pole adapter saved me from digging up my old 2" flag sleeve.

Pole adapter is a time saver for sure. Enables you from digging up your old concrete and sleeve. My only concern was when I put the adapter in the 2" previous sleeve it still had about .180 Dec slop wabble and the included rubber adhesive shim was not enough to stop the wobble. So bought a 22 ga 14" x 6" sheet of sheet metal and wrapped it around the lower part of the adapter and put into the ground and it was a snug fit and stopped the little wabble and now feel solid as a rock. If it wasn't for the extra work to make this right, I would have given it 5 Stars. But over all the adapter is heavy duty and functions as it should be. Not to mention keeping you from digging up your yard and setting new concrete.

Brilliant idea

I was so excited to not have to dig another hole! Ordered the adapter after measuring existing sleeve only to find out the sleeve had an issue in the bottom that prevented me from using the new adapter. Had to dig the hole anyway but was able to see the fine construction and strength of the adapter and would recommend.
