THE BASEBAR PRO

Good Bar but needs a little height & a few more things … sorry for the long review

It’s a good short pull up bar, but it would be perfect if it had a few more inches in height… I’m 5’9 and I can’t do an L sit all the way down …I try to do the widest grip, I put my palm as much on the bar… & I raise my legs a bit higher than an L sit all to avoid touching the ground… I have tried the Bullbar portable pull up bar & others but the bottom base support part takes up a lot of space and I’ve had to give them away …. & they are too high and I hit my head in the ceiling…. I’ve lived in my brothers houses & now my own apartment but it’s been the same experience with hitting my head In the ceiling and the base bottom part takes up too much space… so the Basebar Pro has an advantage in those areas … the only con about the Basebar pro is I can’t go all the way down on an L-Sit like I explained… I can’t do L-Sit scapula pull ups, I can’t do an L-Sit hand on the Basebar pro … but the Pros about the Basebar Pro is my head is not hitting the ceiling and the bottom support part takes less space than other pull up bars . . I say if the Basebar Pro had the option to do a higher height adjustment. . just enough so that I can go alll the way down on an L-Sit . . even if you made the base bitty support part a bit larger or bigger … then I think I’d be completely satisfied with this Basebar Pro …. I also thought I’d mention that this is my third Basebar Pro purchase… the reason is because my first one I had to sell it because financial problems but my second one I gave away because it was getting rust on the inside. . I noticed that you guys put some type of plastic on the new Basebar Pro Bars. . on the inside part where you slide the Basebar Pro to adjust the height but my problem with that is that a lot of the plastic starts rubbing off. . coming off . . a lot of plastic pieces fall on me & my apartment… & that plastic part somehow caused the inside to get rust when I had it in my storage unit . . I think somehow it trapped in humidity and caused rust? Because my first Basebar pro . . the older one didn’t have plastic on the inside & it never had rust inside …. But yes … good bar but just the height, the rust. . & the plastic part that rubs off and falls everywhere… if that was all fixed . . I could say this pull up bar was perfect

I wanted a pull workout station and I did not want a doorframe pull up bar. I decided to give the basebar a try and I am loving it so far. Bonus is that my kids love it too. Easy storage and it works great as a quick workout in my home office.
