Improvements Needed
I want to start by saying the protection this bag offers is the main draw to purchase. The styling and design is unique and another factor that attracted me to this bag. I do have some minor frustration over the fact that I received a Boblbee branded pack, not one with the updated Point 65 branding as shown in the images. However, the real frustration is with the lack of practicality in the bag. The inner divider/organizer is basically useless, as it doesn't offer enough depth to put much of anything in it. I feel that this is a simple change that needs to be made to add more functionality to the bag. My other gripe is the top outer pocket - much like the inner organizer, it doesn't offer much usability as the closure becomes an issue if you actually store items in that pocket. I do appreciate that they utilize a hi-viz yellow/green for the inside as it makes items easier to see in the dark. As for the storage in general, it becomes a bit clunky due to the shape of the shell - things don't stack well and it fills the bag quickly. Would love to see a 35L option to help negate this issue. The X-Case I purchased helps ease this pain point a bit, but is another added cost on an already very expensive backpack. My last complaint is the side retention tabs - I think for the cost something a bit easier to use/quicker would be a much more welcome addition than the tight bungie straps. For the price you pay, I think some impovements are needed to make it worth the cost. Love the unique look and the protection, but it's not enough to justify the price when the actual storage isn't functional.
