I chose these for my partner who has issues with edema. While he found them relatively comfortable to wear, he really wished there was more padding on the bottom. He has issues with ulcers on the bottom of his feet so a little padding there would have made these perfect. I do worry about how well they will stand up to extended wear as I find they stretch a little both in length and width.

I have two different kinds of compression socks. One is sold by target in the United States, made by a company called all in motion. They are really good, but very very tight and very very hard to get on. Your via socks are a little more expensive, but the fact that they are more open at the top makes them a lot easier to get on my feet, especially when they’re swollen.

These work quite well, for not being special order orthotics, and the price is SO much better! They are comfortable for every day wear, and the only slight problem is that even though I have fairly long legs they are too long and I have to roll the tops down once, below the knee.
