Great piccolo

It sounds nice, transitions easily from lower registers to higher registers without easily losing pitch. Tone wise, it's easily on par with other piccolos I've played - not as sweet and pure in sound as some wooden ones, but far better for the outdoor playing I routinely participate in by far. It carries well, and I'm not worried about how the climate will affect it. For some reason, a few of the highest notes do not come out clearly. I don't play piccolo consistently, so maybe it's me. However, when I trialed a few other piccolos, the highest notes came out more easily, if not as prettily or in tune. This is only a difficulty because the Bb, C and D are not working as expected (Db is fine), and it made Stars and stripes a bit more challenging than expected.
