Very hard to be disappointed
Just spend a week in Adirondacks with my newly acquired Skyliner. Four words : 1) Architecture : the concept is basic and very efficient. Inside is very roomy. 2) Details : when you look closely you realize how features are integrated in a very well thought pattern (anchors for accessories, little opening for power cable,...) 3) Robustness : Canvas is amazing. Breezy. Very different from synthetic. 4) Simple : French poet Nicolas Boileau in Poetic Art (1674) said : That which is well conceived is clearly expressed, and the words to say it flow with ease. I believe this is what summarize a Springbar product.

I’ve been extremely impressed with my Springbar tent so far. The build quality is immediately noticeable — heavy canvas, sturdy construction, and a design that feels like it was made to last for years instead of a couple seasons. What really stands out is how comfortable it feels compared to modern synthetic tents. The canvas breathes well, manages condensation better than expected, and creates a much more natural camping experience. Setup is straightforward once you understand the frame system, and the tent feels exceptionally solid once staked out. I also appreciate that it feels repairable and maintainable rather than disposable. It’s definitely heavier than ultralight camping gear, but for base camping, historical-style camping, overlanding, or longer stays, the tradeoff is worth it. If you value durability, craftsmanship, and a more traditional camping experience, I can absolutely recommend Springbar.

Airstream to Skyliner
Sold the airstream and moving to the Skyliner. Product quality is first in mind and we are excited to hot tent camp using our new Skyliner with less complexity of towing a camper.
