Truffle squares and marzipan rolls.

The truffle squares and marzipan rolls have been a favorite of mine for seven decades. Li-Lac has been a favorite in my family since the 1930s. Living in Greenwich Village, my father courted my mother with Li-Lac chocolates and when my brother and I came along, Li-Lac was always a special treat for us. I recall our short walks over to Christopher Street to that small, delicious chocolate shop. Brings back such beautiful and wonderful memories!
