What a HUGE Difference!
I recently upgraded my 5.1.4 from a Pioneer VSX-LX505 (which died) to a Denon AVR-X4800 and a Monolith M5100 multi channel amp. My bed layer speakers (amped) are the Andrew Jones designed SP-52SF system with matching bookshelf surrounds and center, plus the very versatile and economically friendly Polk OWM3s for the 4 hight channels. The Pioneer SW-10 (250w down firing/ported) subwoofer has always done pretty good in my system, but the unique shape of my room makes it sound super powerful and boomy in a few areas but completely dead in other spots. So, it’s been moved to a rear position and the PB 1000 up front and OMG.. I can’t believe the improvement right out of the box, with a couple of tweaks by ear. The added power behind my mains and surrounds really needed some help in the low end and the SVS made it happen! It’s getting better with the AVRs room correction and I can’t wait to get into all the 4ks that need rewatched! And yes, we a combination of movie and Lego fans! Nerdy but we love it. Btw, thanks for the cool shirt!

Great sub!
The PB-1000 Pro has great bass for what I need right now. The isolation feet have tightened the bass up and I don't feel the walls shaking anymore. They have worked as advertised for my 16ft x 20ft room. The SVS app works great with the sub when I need to make adjustments.

Great Subwoofer & Support
I didn't actually know which subwoofer I would need. In my situation it is a medium, almost large, room but with a large opening that cannot be closed in addition to a pocket door. I decided on the PB-1000 and it has been fantastic for deep cinematic rumbles of movies. In fact, Movies, TV (when it needs bass), and Games have all been great. I get strong rumbling response in games like Elden Ring when there is fighting. TV varies as it really depends on what you are watching, but for shows that make use of it, it can be as impactful as movies. A deep rumble that feels like it is coming right out of my screen. Music is a little less certain as I don't listen often with this system and it seems that most audio prefers just 2.0 stereo speakers. If I change the bass in the app I do get added bass from the PB-1000, so it does work. I just haven't looked to far into it. I also haven't experimented much with the sealed mode. As you can tell, this room is more of a movie/game room. I have to say I really like the app. I like to adjust it based on my content. So far it has worked very well for me. I will say I wish the hamburger menu didn't go so bright / white when everything else is in dark mode. But otherwise I haven't had any issues with the app itself (Android). On SVS Support: Honestly, they have been very easy to contact and talk to. I now see why forums state that they would buy from SVS just because they know something will be taken care of. In my case I had an order that got stuck at ports across sea. An estimated time of 1 month turned into 2+. I talked to an agent and they let me know about an SVS Outlet coming up, this allowed me to get the same product for cheaper and not have to wait for the new shipments to arrive to the States. I also then had to cancel my original order and everyone that helped me at SVS made it very easy. I'm pretty happy with how easy and fast it is to talk to someone. I wasn't stuck fighting against automated systems.
