Oh oh. . . things may be tanking . . .
I am a long time and loyal Drink tank customer. I believe that I own 5 in different colors and sizes. A spout cap broke when my 1 gallon tank fell out of my car. Totally my fault. I ordered a replacement and I must say that I was underwhelmed. All of my previous spout caps held on to the metal bail firmly on at least one side. These new tops just let go. Mine dropped to the floor during my first attempt to refill it and the gasket fell out of the top. It was easy to reinstall and I am glad that I was at home instead of a public place with a dirty floor or over some kind of grate. These seems to be no adhesive or friction to hold the gasket in. I am very careful when removing the lid now. They still make an excellent product however this is the third issue, all different problems, I have had with one of their offerings. Buy but beware. . .
