Skyline 30 Fastpack

Loving it!

I'm loving this pack so far! I've been wanting to dial in my kit a little more & found this to be the perfect pack to help me do that! I've been wearing it on my prayer walks in my neighborhood so far and can't wait to get it on trail!

Great balance of weight, comfort and capacity

Thought I would try the Skyline 30 Fastpack after having issues getting water bottles in my old daypack. Took the pack on a 12 mile trip to the summits of Grays and Torreys peaks in Colorado. Loved the running vest style straps and the front water flasks, easy to drink from while on the move and the numerous pockets were great for snacks, chapstick and Garmin Montana GPS. The pass through pocket at the bottom was perfect for stuffing my hat, gloves and buff in as the weather changed. Had on for nearly 8 hours with around 12 pounds and was comfortable the entire trip . Would highly recommend, I am 5’-11” and 205lbs and the M/L fit great. Keep up the good work OV.

Good fit, but on the smaller end

I like the fit of the pack as it does not bounce around at all when fastpacking. But the second strap shoulder strap does not expand as far as I would like. It cinches down nicely for moving fast, but when i want to go slow, I'd rather loosen it out as far as it can for comfort. All that to say, the straps just don't allow enough distance between shoulder straps for more casual use.
