Liquid Powder Eye Tint

Disappointing even on sale...

This product was heavily discounted (40%?), which is why I bit the bullet and added it to my cart. The reviews (especially recent reviews) had not been good and I knew it might be a risky buy. That said, I was still disappointed to find that the formula is virtually unusable. The color (a nice gray-ish lavender) would be nice, but it immediately applies so dry that it isn't blendable or moveable at all. Even working quickly doesn't help, and any attempts at blending or buffing it out with a brush or your finger end up dragging product and making it streaky. This isn't all that different from some other brands' attempts at liquid eyeshadow, but I hoped ILIA might have a better offering.

Perfect Shade

In a world of pinks and browns or iridescents, this shadow offers a great alternative for fair skinned users. This bluish grey with a hint of lavender is perfect. I also love the creamy consistency of the shadow. I can’t wear pencil or stick shadow because my eyelids are too sensitive. The creamy liquid goes on smoothly with little pressure. It dries to a matt finish.

Good base eyeshadow

I don't believe this product will be continued as it appears it has been replaced with a new version. But, it provides a little color on it's own or a base under the new " pencil" version. A bit tricky to blend, but not a deal breaker.
