I have two small dogs…. 5 lb chihuahua and 11 lb chihuahua mix (a rescue). They are good eaters and I offer a variety of foods that I rotate. They both LOVE this Meat Mixer….. and I love it too. Fortunately, they have a dog dad who helps me make this food so it goes fast. We use 10 lbs of ground turkey and the small bag of Meal Mixer. He cooks the meat in 1 lb portions and I mix in the Meal Mixer. We weigh out daily portions, bag it up. and put it in the freezer. The process takes about 1.5 hrs and we end up with 60 evening meals. per dog. Well, worth our time and I feel good about the quality of their food.

My breeder/groomer recommended this for my Welsh terrier and honestly, it’s been a step above the farmers dog that we were feeding previously. Since my dog is little, I have the opportunity to prepare 1 pound of meat at a time which gives him four sometimes five meals. Really happy with this.

I’ve been using the Four Leaf Rover meat mixer for my dogs’ raw food and honestly it just makes life easier. Feeding raw used to feel like a whole project trying to make sure everything was balanced. Now I just add the mix to the meat and I’m done. It takes all the guesswork out, which is a huge relief. My dogs love it, and I feel good knowing they’re getting a complete meal without me having to juggle a bunch of extra stuff. If you’re feeding raw or thinking about it, this definitely makes it way less complicated.
