My new travel buddy
I never would have thought I'd pay $100 for a slip, but after seeing all the reviews here from folks who wear the Roam Cami Slip as a slip, a top, a nightgown, and even a LBD, and about to head off on a 2.5 week trip on a river cruise w/no laundry facilities (that I could afford), I decided to give it a try. WOW. It packed up so small, I could use it as a cover up or a nightgown, and best of all with a black shaper bodysuit underneath (with racerback straps that gave it some pizzaz), I wore it out at night when the temps were soaring. Didn't wash it once. I'm headed off on another hot location trip in September and I might just wear it every day on that one! I'm very glad I purchased the Roam Cami Slip. Sizing wise, I'm usually a M but with my not very trim waist and 40" hips I went with the L on this and it was perfect.

Fantastic product
The Roam Cami slip is the best thing I have bought in a very long time. It was my first Wool& purchase. Over the past 10-15 years winter dresses did not feature in my wardrobe, just trousers. With this slip (and Roam shorts), I am enjoying a return to dresses and skirts. I live in Western Australia and today 1 June, is our first day of winter. I have worn the slip almost everyday since it was delivered 3½ weeks ago. I typically avoid thin straps as they usually slip off my shoulders, but these do not. According to size chart I would be XL. This is what I purchased and the size is perfect for me. It is slim fitting, but not snug and so comfortable to wear.

My Merino Swiss Army Knife
The last time I owned a slip was for piano recitals in the 1980s. I first thought, "who is spending >$100 on a slip?" Well, turns out I am. More than once. The Roam Cami Slip is my most worn clothing item and her cost per use is down to pennies* now. This is the best hot flash nightgown, swim cover-up, winter cozy layer, lump and bump smoother, little black dress, house dress while getting ready, wrinkle free skirt under a sweater or top. Whether you've found merino for travel, hot flashes, a more sustainable footprint, the Roam "slip" is the Swiss Army Knife you need in your closet and travel backpack. Note on color: The Black Roam Cami Slip can easy be worn alone. The Oatmeal Heather isn't see through, but it is not as opaque on me as the black. I still wear it as a dress with Natalia, but the top is a little more sheer on its own. It may be because I sized down to fit my hip measurement, so the top is two sizes smaller than the size chart recommends for my bust measurement, but it also appears a less opaque on the wool& model Sean's photos. I would love to see this item in Petunia, Verde, or Marine Blue. *retired US coin for the younger woolies ;)
