Destination: Discovery!

I finally did it: I pulled the trigger and got my first discovery set from HP after eyeing them for awhile. I should’ve started my “road to discovery” earlier! I tend to favor smoky, forest-y, and spicy fragrances, so I started with The Smoke Box. This was probably the best place for me to start. Although I definitely have obvious favorites (Midnight Toker, Poltergeist, and Dirty Vanilla), I honestly found all of them delightful, and have worn all of them multiple times since the box arrived (and will continue to do so until they run out). I was pleasantly surprised to find that the scent actually lingered throughout the day. Not in an everyone can smell me all the time throughout the day way, but more like I’d get little hints and whiffs of it on me, even as the day went on. Although I think layering scents to create a signature scent would be more effective (for me) with some more diverse scents, I still enjoyed various combinations of the included scents (and even tried some combos with EDPs I already own). Tip: If you think you don’t like a scent upon first application, WAIT before you write it off! I thought I didn’t like one scent, but as I wore it I realized I just didn’t like that initial strong “blast” of it. All in all: No regrets! Wearing these scents from The Smoke Box made me feel like a happy and haunted smoky creature, and I would definitely recommend this box if you’re considering it!
