Union Bowl

Perfect Proportions.

I've been admiring your work for years, and finally made the decision to pop for two small pieces of my own. These are beautifully proportioned and with no flaws at all. This is superb taste, perfectly crafted. However, springing from that is my own personal observation (which is worth less than the energy it takes to read this) is that somewhere along the line the "handmade look" got lost. I am a potter myself, so I'm always looking at other people's work, and one of the things I love most is glaze interractions, and looking at the spectacular results when certain glazes are overlapped. Also, a very popular technique (for now) is the "rustica" look -- slight irregularities that create an "earthy" look. That aside, I have nothing but awe for what comes out of the Pandolfi studio, which is my first and most important message to you. Thank you for all the beauty you've added to the world.
