Karla Loungewear Pattern

Love This

I made this suit in a similar colour with a heavy stretch knit that looks a bit like suede. It turned out so well, the cut of the pants is very flattering over the bum and hips, the perfect wide leg especially with the heavy knit fabric I used. I have made the pants again in black fleece track suit material which also turned out great. I have made the top in a pale blue cotton towel knit looks grear and also a loose knit in a khaki. The neckline on the top is wide and flattering also and the gathered sleeves look great and push up nicely on the forearm. Very easy instructions and didn’t take long at all to make. This pattern is going to be used a few more times yet!

Great classic lounge set

I loved this make, it was relatively quick and rewarding and a great way to break the ice working with knits. Easy to add length to the pants as I'm a relatively tall person. I also made a simple change to the sleeves and made a bell sleeve instead of gathered. Overall a great pattern, I have plans to make more in different fabrics!

Novice sewer

Having now made the loungewear find the top too short and trousers too full in the keg nearly tripped over them. In the interests of fairness that might be down to my inexperience. Instead of elastic cuffs would look at changing it to a cuff detail
