The block comes natural. You can use the included block butter or your own stain. The block butter instantly warmed the colors of the wood. Easy install and magnet is strong but not impossible to remove your knives from.

As a woodworker myseld i aprrciated the aimple design that actually works the last one of these we bought from william and sanoma sucked, this magnet is no joke, it works for heavy thick knives and easy to hang, good quality wood and i like that i get to do the finish myself because i was able to use what i personally like on walnut.
