Classic Percale Core Sheet Set

These don't live up to the brand's reputation

I've had these sheets for almost a month now. They feel like the lesser quality entry level product for an otherwise luxury brand. The sheets feel smooth to the touch. Unfortunately they also feel thin and paper-like. They are good for hot summer nights and do run cool which is good right now. But for anything other than that, they feel cheap. Also, I used Shout to remove two small blood stains during the second wash and it lightened the dye in those areas.

These sheets are exactly what I hoped great percale sheets would feel like. The first thing I noticed was how fresh, crisp, and wonderfully cool they feel when you get into bed. They have that smooth, breathable cotton feel that is comfortable without being slippery or overly silky, and they make sleeping feel noticeably more refreshing. I’m also very impressed with the fit and overall quality. The sheets sit beautifully on the bed and feel substantial and well made, while still remaining light and airy. They have the perfect balance of softness and that classic percale crispness that gives freshly made bedding such an inviting feel. What surprised me most is how much a really good sheet set can change the entire sleeping experience. My bed now feels cleaner, cooler, and more comfortable, and I actually look forward to getting into it at the end of the day. The understated, classic look is beautiful as well—it feels sophisticated without trying too hard. The Classic Percale Core Sheet Set has quickly become one of my favorite Brooklinen purchases. If you love the feeling of crisp, cool, beautifully made hotel bedding, these are absolutely worth it. I couldn’t be happier with them.

Perfect for hot summer!

I bought these because we were experiencing a heat wave during the summer and these are my saving grace. They are so cool to sleep with and breathable. I love the crispy feeling.
