Replacement Parts Solved the Issue—Customer Service Saved the Experience

I finally was able to get the bed assembled and working. I want to give special thanks to Bethany from Thuma’s customer support team. After I experienced an issue with one of the rails not fitting properly, she promptly arranged for replacement pieces to be shipped. Once the new parts arrived, I was able to complete the assembly successfully. The finished bed is attractive, sturdy, and appears to be well-made. However, my experience did not match the advertising that suggests one person can easily assemble the bed in just a few minutes. The components are quite heavy, and the assembly process was much more challenging than expected, particularly when dealing with a defective piece. That said, Thuma’s customer service ultimately made things right, and I appreciate Bethany’s professionalism and responsiveness throughout the process. If everything fits correctly, it’s a beautiful bed, but prospective buyers should be aware that assembly may not be as quick or effortless as advertised.

I rarely compromise on quality, so I chose this frame expecting a premium experience. While the wood itself is decent, the overall value simply does not justify the high price tag. First, the delivery service was a nightmare. I live in an apartment building, and the couriers just dumped the heavy boxes at the building entrance instead of bringing them up. Second, the frame arrived with several scratches on the corners. I wanted to attach photos to show the damage, but this platform doesn't allow image uploads. For the price they charge, both the product inspection and the customer service should be significantly better. Would not recommend.
