Protective Lid Backpack - Optimal

Great product, but there is definitely room for improvement. There is no chest strap for some reason. I ended having to buy that separately. The strap over the water bottle holder is not a buckle, it is a small adjustable polyester strap. It is not even flexible. It is basically useless most of the time because of the lack of flexibility. The pocket on the outside of the enclosed water bottle holder becomes unusable when there is something in the bigger pocket. Some stretch or movement of that pocket would have been nice. Lastly, the back and strap padding is Very uncomfortable. It’s the same material if you go buy a $15 backpack from Walmart. I know they had to make some concessions when creating the “lesser” version of the ultimate, but the back and strap padding is one of the if not the most important part of the product because it is the part that you are actually touching. Other than those minor things, I enjoy the product! It has a great Aesthetic and organizational structure. It is very easyto access the various pockets and have a pocket for everything. I think if those mentioned adjustments were made, it would be a perfect backpack. Not to bulky, big, or heavy like the ultimate version, but just maximum accessibility and functionality. I use this backpack everyday, all day as a work and personal backpack. I bike or drive to work everyday and it works great other than the adjustment that I recommended.

I really like the backpack, storage is great but it is missing a few features that would make it a better for my needs. 1. An integrated key loop would be great for one of the quick access pouches. 2.The water bottlestrap needs to have a buckle of some sort so it can go through the handle of the bottle to better secure it. Without this my bottle often falls out on plane rides. 3. An integrated or included sternum strap for when the bag is fully packed down with weight would increase comfort. 4. On the hidden back passport pocket, a fabric loop to tie off. The pocket is the perfect size and placement for concealed carry, this would make it safer to do that.

The product is very versatile.I can store all my electronics and more.Look forward to future purchases,R Cutliff
