I have never experienced a comforter like this! Fluffed in the dryer upon arrival and slept with it that night. So warm and cozy! I’m obsessed.

Second chances

When I first got this, I was honestly unimpressed and ready to send it back. I woke up cold the first night and felt like the quality was off. But after a few days, it was honestly kind of magical. It fully fluffed up and became cloud-like, warm, and big , exactly how it’s described. I do think it’s worth mentioning in the product page that it may take a few days to really unfold and reach its full shape, so people don’t give up on it too fast. I live in California so it’s not usually that cold, but this winter has been colder than normal and I’m someone who gets cold easily. I got the winter weight version, and it’s been warm enough for me. Overall, it feels super clean and fresh, and I’m really happy I gave it a chance. I love it.

Not the same Cloud Comforter as before

We purchased one of the original Cloud comforters 5 years ago and loved it. It was finally time to upgrade to a new one, so we purchased the new “all season” version and were very disappointed with the lack of fluffiness. It was very thin and not plush at all. Plus, it started pilling immediately after one wash. So I returned it to try the “winter weight” style, which was definitely more plush but as you would expect, much more hot. There is almost no cooling sensation with the thicker version and we live in Florida so I think this style will definitely be an issue in the summer months. I’m disappointed I couldn’t get the combo of plushness + cooling that we had with our OG comforter. I likely will be moving on from Buffy products in the future, they’re just not the same. Customer service was OK in resolving my issues with the first comforter, but it was difficult to ever speak to a real human which was annoying and elongated the process of the return. I do appreciate that they have their environmental initiatives regarding returns and that refunds are given without much issue.
