A book for true 90's gaming fans
This is a gorgeously produced volume that preserves for our posterity that treasure that is the PC Engine and its iconic collection of box art for its games! If you are a fan of 90's console gaming, please don't hesitate to get your copy now! I missed out on the deluxe version, but this regular one more than does justice to its namesake.

Another Fantastic Book
This is my 2nd Bitmap book (first was the NES Visual Compendium), and I was equally impressed with the attention to detail, the beautiful presentation, and the always-excellent protected shipping that pretty much guarantees you will get a pristine book in the mail. I was pleasantly surprised that there is plenty of "lore" and background on the PC Engine/TG16 as well as the games. The title may imply that it's only box art, but there is much interesting information on the system up front, and on specific games throughout. I've always been fascinated by the TG16 - it was an interesting little console that was a little bit quirky; the appearance, the marketing, the mysteriously small footprint of the console and games, the Japanese flavor to the games, then they came out with the Turbo Express which was way ahead of its time (and priced accordingly). It didn't have a massive library, but there were some great games, and I like Bitmap's approach to including/prioritizing the Japanese library, which allows for a more robust book as well as insight that we might not have ever known in the West. No complaints - another great book that's beautifully prepared and well researched.

PC Engine Madness
I’m a big magazine guy, music, games etc. So, this was right up my alley. I heard the hype and read the reviews about the company. This one caught my eye as a huge Turbo Graphx fan. After a week of flipping through the first 20 pages, I am very the moon about this book. I just bought another copy for a friend. The quality is off the charts as is the shipping time. Are you guys sleeping over there ? Amazing work, you should be very proud!
