Aventon Zip Lock

Inoperable

The zip lock was one of many things I ordered with my new Aventon E-bike. It simply doesn’t work. The initial code is 000, but that is nowhere in the instructions. Then, to change the code, you are instructed to rotate the screw 1/4 turn, and change to new code. However, in my case (like in several of the other reviews here), the screw won’t turn at all. I reviewed Aventon’s reply comments to the complaints, including the instructional video on You Tube, but that was very frustrating because the screw easily turns in the video, but mine is frozen. It seems like this is a known defective product. I contacted Aventon in a separate email. However, my point here is that Aventon should stop selling this product because, according to the reviews, many people experience this same problem and it degrades an otherwise positive experience with purchasing Aventon products.

lock quit working

kept inside of the garage never used outdoors but seized up inside the house after about a year. Not to happy considering I never even changed the stock code.had to cut and trash.

Love this! It was exactly what I wanted. It’s a fancy zip tie…great for attaching my helmet to my bike when traveling or even as storage.
