There was something intriguing that prompted me to pre order this little box. If I’m honest, it felt a bit like an impulse buy as I wondered what role it would serve in creating a track. Running various hardware through an aux send, I’ve been pleasantly impressed with how musical the resulting snippets are. And if they don’t fit the track- just tweak for a new flavour. I’ve sampled and have found that the resulting textures and rhythms provide a lush counter point to melodies and seem to provide inspiration on where to take a starting loop.

I pre-ordered this special Soundgas-liveried box. The wait was well worth it - what a remarkably liberating creative tool! Amazing bit of kit

Delightful Sounds

This box produces the most delightful sounds from almost any material. Very musical and inspiring. What I learned: if you run it on batteries and it starts to sound harsh and scratchy it is time to change the battery.
