STM Pocket Psalter

This Psalter (not pocket sized, but travel-friendly) is a beautiful translation and well made; both important things. However, I cannot reconcile how it was decided to waste precious real estate with translation notes, when that space could have been much more fruitfully allocated for prayers before and after reading the Psalter. I get the need to condense and prioritize space, but I bought this psalter for prayer, not research. Please consider this for the next edition!

Beautiful Psalter!

This is such a beautiful Psalter! I'd really love to see the inclusion of a schedule for reading throughout the week. Until then, I'll place one the I use in this psalter.

Like all their recent publications, the binding and overall construction is great... But I was *deeply* disappointed to find that they chose not to include the prayers for before/after the kathismata. I could understand if there wasn't room... but clearly there was... Since they chose to include all this information on the translation... as if we really needed that more than the prayers. Big let down. It could have dethroned both the Boston and the Psalter for Prayer... Now I'll still have to carry the latter to have those prayers when traveling. Hopefully the second edition they'll leave out the technical jargon and include the prayers.
