Doc's North Florida Roselle

If you are looking for a short-season roselle that will bloom up north, these will not dissapoint! These absolutely thrived in my central IL climate last summer (2024), and produced tons of calyxes before the weather turned cold (the greens are great, too, and freeze well). Seeds germinated for me in under 24 hours! Plants grew like mad once they were established, and shrugged off a storm that took out half the trees on my block. I will absolutely be growing these again this year.
