I’m glad I looked it up beforehand and found out that the black is the traditional, thick, cordura feel fabric, and the xrf is some newfangled t-shirt fabric, I believe. The little side pocket on the front-side is cool, wallet or something would fit nice there. Very comfortable straps and back.

Barrage 22L - first thoughts

I’ve been using this pack for about 2 weeks now, so far it is great. Straps and fit are comfortable, capacity is good for what I need. Like the roll closure and compression straps. Inside and side pockets are useful.

Solid commuter option

Updated model is great. I appreciate the built-in zip functionality in the interior pack, as well as some of the minor revisions to the exterior particularly side pockets. They've also got a great warranty as well.
