Cute but runs very small

I do love these. I’m 5’8”, 135 lbs, size 4-6, athletic build. I ordered my normal medium and they were tight and short. The model they are using to reference sizing is very off. I loved them so I wanted to exchange for a large, but they were sold out. So I got an XL and they actually fit. They are loose but that’s fine bc I’m going to be wearing with a bikini and don’t want the elastic to leave a mark on my stomach. Super cute, sizing is just waaaay off. I would suggest sizing up.
