I got this lid in hopes that it would fit your large tea mug. I tested it first with tap water and turned it upside down in the sink and it began to leak where you drink from. I was disappointed. I also shook it (upright) and nothing spilled so that was good. I just hope I don't ever accidentally make it fall on its side because then liquid will definitely spill.

Just needed a new top for my wife's travel cup she carries it to work everyday cup is still going strong after 2 or 3 years. Great product
